Hello again! It is week five and I am failing miserably. I have not stayed on track with my action plan at all and I am honestly pretty frustrated. Coco has decided now not to listen at all and that she is going to play with the sheep dog and not learn anymore. I finally cracked down on her last night though and she actually listened to me. I really hope that it is ok that I am not really following my action plan, and if not, oh well such is life. It did help that our sheep dog (Tank) was with us last night right next to the sheep so Coco was so much more calm.
I am trying really hard to get her to build enough courage to go around the horses, but hopefully that will come in time. I also really wanted to get a picture of her playing with the pig last night but the second the pig grunted, she got scared and ran away. I am proud of her though since we are training her at three years old and usually dogs are trained around one year old. Well I suppose that's all for now see y'all next week.
How long do you think it will take to get her onto cows? Are your sheep scared of your dog? Is your dog bred to work with the sheep? Good luck Haley !
ReplyDeleteThis is Ilyssa! Okay first of all your dog is super cute but anyways what is your plan for the following weeks since you’re not following your action plan? And how often do you work with your dog on this?
ReplyDeleteHow old is you dog? You're dog is really cute and I'm sure he will come through and start to get things you want her/him to do! Maybe you could try searching how to train them on sheep? Hope everything works out for you! Good Luck!
ReplyDeleteJust keep your head up. All good things comes to those who wait. So if you keep working you’ll get there and one day you’ll make a big break through. You’re doing great Haley !
